Job Description

The team achieve this using configuration management tools to configure new component and change existing infrastructure and therefore candidates with a technical background in Unix/Linux administration. The current team is made up of 9 with a mix of Junior, Midlevel and Senior UNIX administrators. The total operational team is 40.

* Understanding of Linux or Unix Administration (Centos or RedHat)
* Configuration management systems including Puppet
* Shell scripting (bash preferred)
* Ensure projects for the team are delivered on time and to requirements
* Improve upon existing system designs and automate processes

The role will be based remote, with the expectations to spend time with the team onsite circa 1 day per week, depending on requirements. Their office is based in the city centre with excellent transport links and close to Temple Meads station.
