With a strong a varied client base you will deal with Small, Medium and Large clients with turnovers ranging from 500k to £50m+ it is expected you will have strong commercial acumen and an ability to communicate with those at multiple levels including Directors and on-site finance. Exposure to both is highly desirable.

Responsible for...

• Working with and managing client relationships with some on-site work
• Compliance and planning with the team
• Working with the outsourcing team and supporting them when required
• Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
• General bookkeeping for group companies
• Preparation of management accounts for groups
• Liaison with the HMRC

Required Attributes:

• ACA/ACCA Qualified or Finalist
• Management accounts exposure
• Three or more years in a similar role
• Highly organised
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate Excel
• Knowledge of multiple accounting systems such as IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks

Desired Attributes:

• History of working with/and/or training junior members of the team
