Job Description
  • Ensure the promotion of customer requirements throughout the company
  • Manage and develop current AS9100 / ISO9001 quality systems
  • Liaise with external bodies on all matters related to external accreditations
  • Manage corrective actions, process improvements and internal quality audits
  • Manage document control
  • Inspection of manufactured components/assemblies
  • Managing customer and supplier non conformances
  • Direct report for customers during site visits
  • Managing the company’s overall quality performance
  • Managing all internal audits
  • Creating quality reports for the senior management team
  • Manage all PPE
  • Ensure that inspection is appropriately resourced
  • Ensure that quality issues are fed back to the team.
  • Walk the area questioning and gauging
  • Manage and enforce good housekeeping
  • Process adherence
  • Data collection adherence
  • Complete Risk Assessments and implement process and procedures in line with QMS

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Current experience as a QA/QC inspector/supervisor within engineering manufacturing industry • Experience and knowledge of managing the following quality accreditations: ISO9001:2015, SO14001:2004 and or AS9100 & IATF 16949AQMS beneficial • Good knowledge of MS Office • Excellent communication skills, with key stakeholders • Knowledge of engineering functions/processes would be advantageous • Knowledge of MRP systems would be beneficial • Analytical & Problem solving • You’ll be well organised, punctual, reliable, and hard working.
