Key Responsibilities
Telephone/email customers on a regular basis, achieving 20 promises per day
Send letters requesting payment. Ensuring due and over 90 day debt is kept to a minimum
Send Final Notices to “Overdue” accounts
To ensure payments go onto correct accounts.
To ensure payments are allocated to specified invoices.
Reconciling Ledgers and unallocated cash on a regular basis
Reconcile cash sales accounts on a weekly basis
Review over 20% limits daily and submit reviews as required, ensuring customers keep within their limits
Putting accounts onto credit stop, ensuring both customer and sales branches are aware.
Liaising with branches to resolve queries.
Escalating any problems to Team Leader if unable to resolve
Other adhoc duaties such as post, cheques/bacs loading/allocating, reception cover, pod reconciling, filing, covering for absent team members and producing customer reports where required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Good analytical and problem solving skills. Level of numerical accuracy and reconciliation. Ability to use Excel and learn IT and In-house systems.
