You will provide an efficient and effective sixth form student support system for the Academy and support. Your duties will include:
Being the first point of contact for all stakeholders.
Being the first point of contact for all stakeholders who telephone the Academy.
Communicating effectively with all stakeholders, passing on messages when required.
Leading on the collating and updating of information on manual and computer based systems with regards to the Post 16 student bursary.
Assisting students to manage their bursary spending including advising on what can be claimed.
Managing the administration of the applications process.
Administering Careers Guidance Events as part of the applications process.
Allocating students to differing sites as part of the consortium.
Seeking references from external candidates where required, organizing the interview process and sending letters informing students as to whether their application has been successful.
Organizing induction into Y12 and Y13 via letter, spread sheet and liaison with subject teachers
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have: Good level of secondary education. Good communication skills verbal and non-verbal. The ability to use Word, Excel and emails competently. Good organization skills, keeping a clean, tidy, well ordered environment. High level of accuracy. Experience working in a busy school environment. Experience working within a team. Experience of school computer packages. Experience working with children and young adults.
