Complete and submit security event reports and physical security check records.
Responsible for regular checking / auditing of security and emergency response equipment.
Physical security presence at events (as directed).
First line maintenance and fault finding of water industry specific security alarms (not intruder alarms).
First line fault finding on customer's security gates.
Assist with the delivery of customer's corporate security campaign.
Local site operator and management liaison.
Promotion of security throughout the customer's geographical operating area.
Advise and help to establish the security of the sites.
Assist with investigation of any breaches or possible areas where security could be breached.
Make recommendations to prevent further security incidents.
Be prepared to respond to taskings at short notice.
Assist with supervised access for security contractors.
Provide advice and guidance to customer staff (as directed).

The postholder may be expected to work out of hours and weekends on occasions in response to the customer's requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o Full SIA Licence. o Previous experience in a security position. o Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment. o No current criminal convictions. o A full valid UK driving licence is required. o Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. o Be able to work independently as well as part of a team. o Be punctual and reliable. o Have an enthusiastic proactive attitude.
