Job Description

The candidate will be a degree qualified, Chartered Engineer with membership of an appropriate Institution. They will have knowledge of either UK civil nuclear or defence regulatory requirements associated with handling nuclear matter on a nuclear licensed site

They will have extensive experience of building and managing multidisciplinary teams and be a proven safety leader in an operations environment. Comfortable with taking financial accountability for the department's performance the candidate will have a good working knowledge of business and Project management control processes.

In this senior a pivotal role, effective management of internal and external stakeholders is an essential attribute for the successful candidate.

The processes delivered by the Fuel Handling Team are closely linked to the availability and safe use of bespoke nuclear facilities, hence experience in this area would also be beneficial.
