Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the client and matter inception process including:
- Entering new clients, matters and opportunities into the CRM system
- Carrying out matter inception risk checks including AML, sanctions and conflict checks
- Advising on KYC due diligence requirements, reviewing KYC documents and advising when further checks are necessary
- Reviewing existing client engagement documentation and providing draft documentation where necessary
- Working with fee earners to complete matter opening risk assessments
- Monitoring completion of onboarding tasks and following up where necessary
- Closing opportunities and matters including carrying out file closure risk assessments
- Liaising with the CRM technical team to request changes to the system, advise of functionality issues and test updates
- Maintaining templates for client engagement documents
- Ongoing monitoring and reporting
- Initiating new supplier onboarding processing including assisting with due diligence checks and advising on other requirements
- Assist in developing, improving and training the firms policies and processes
- Monitor team inbox and share or escalate tasks as appropriate
- Ad hoc administrative and research tasks.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree educated with a minimum 2.1 result or at least a year’s experience - working in a professional services environment finance, legal or consulting. Unflappable and confident interacting with colleagues across the business; thrives under pressure. Interested in the work that Schillings does and our clients. Proactive, able to priorities a busy workload effectively and manage stakeholder expectations. Problem solver delivers solutions and focuses on the end goal. Team player; an excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with colleagues. Highly organized with excellent attention to detail. Positive, can do attitude. Ideally experience using a client relationship management (CRM) system or similar. Discreet.
