Job Description
You will be responsible for maintaining the document control system, you will also maintain excel worksheets for RDI schedules and drawing registers. You will be required to liaise with clients and sub-contractors to obtain information required for the successful completion of the project. You will work autonomously using your fit out/construction knowledge to problem solve and make decisions on a daily basis.
- To ensure that daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are processed and met.
- To assist in clerical support for the department, filing, printing Plotter drawings, preparation of reports, sending emails, preparing letters, diary management, scheduling meetings etc.
- Develop, implement and maintain the document management system
- Maintaining excel worksheets e.g. RFI Schedule/ drawing register
- Preparation of contract documentation, Collecting RAMS, method statements and other H&S documentation
- To arrange access and permits etc., required for projects
- To understand and interpret drawings and to be able to identify any revisions to them.
- To liaise with clients/sub-contractors, either by phone or email to obtain information required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Educated to A Level standard (or equivalent). Have excellent communication both written & oral. Have excellent attention to detail. Experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word & Outlook. Previous experience in a similar role. Knowledge of the construction/fit out industry. Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
