You will be responsible for checking and approving requests for access to healthcare from our customers, members of the US Military and their families. This role will suit those who thrive in a busy environment and who have excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewing requests for access to healthcare from our customers, ensuring the requests are covered according to policy and issuing Authorization Letters to confirm coverage or denial of coverage.
Ensuring that appropriate healthcare providers are assigned to each case.
Using and updating internal systems to manage requests for access to healthcare.
Communicating with internal and external stakeholders throughout the Authorization process.
Maintaining confidentiality of customer information at all times.
Liaising with medical colleagues to ensure seamless case handling and documentation.
Making healthcare appointments at the request of the customers as required.
