My client is a manufacturing business, based in Reigate and looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. The business is looking at a period of growth and so have created the Financial Controller role to help support future development and growth.

The business is very agile and is keen to add further products to its portfolio and diversify their current offering.

Job Description

The Financial Controller is entirely responsible for the management of the finance function and financial results. The role will include the following elements:

• Preparation of financial statements and year-end accounts
• Manage the audit process, lead on any queries
• Management accounts preparation and review
• Develop and control the annual budget
• Contracts review and investment appraisals
• Tax & treasury support
• Purchasing - negotiations and maintaining supplier audits
• Develop and maintain IT systems
• Manage and maintain bad debt reports
• Develop a strong suite or reports and management information to be presented to the board
• Day to day management of the finance team
• Strong excel advantageous

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
