Job Description

You will be joining a small team reporting to the Head of Payroll. The core duties of this role are complete all client related employees receive their net pay in a timely accurate manner

Sounds interesting - daily duties include:

  • Calculate commission payments in line with authorised commission structures.
  • Either manually or import commission data
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly banking summary reports
  • Access and process all authorised starters.
  • Process statutory payments and deductions, SSP, SAP, SPP court orders and student loans
  • Assist with the financial and tax year end process.
  • Transmit all client payroll submissions
  • Distribute payslips, both hard and soft copies at appropriate dates
  • Ensure all carried forward payroll related items including additions, deductions and change of terms are actioned and processed.
  • Undertaking such other duties required from time to time

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience of payroll within a small team environment Confidence and the ability to manage your own times Have advanced Excel Knowledge - Vlookup Ability to work to tight deadlines Good on-going changes to on-going legislative changes which effect payroll The ability to follow process and procedure correctly
