Job Description

  To be considered for this position you will be a highly confident and outgoing Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper. Working with an external accountant and an internal Invoice Clerk this will be a busy role covering the day to day administration of the accounts department.   Core skills and experience will include:

 

  • Perform accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, bank and credit card reconciliations, deposits and revenue recognition
  • Maintaining the general ledger (including monthly analysis) in a complete and up to date manner.
  • Prepare monthly commission report for payroll. 
  • Responsible for sales/purchase ledgers
  • Preparing weekly supplier payments by bacs.
  • Preparing the monthly accounts to trial balance for our external accountant.
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients where necessary

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  You will ideally also be highly competent using Sage Line 50 accounts and Excel.   This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a fast paced and growing business
