Job Description

You will be required to help manage the efficient and effective administration of EJO cases from the initial receipt of enforcement applications through to processing and enforcement action, in accordance with legislative and procedural requirements.

  • Day to day management of casework investigation activities (encompass all relevant actions e.g. work allocation and reallocation as require, prioritization and quality assurance, providing advice to team members on case progression).
  • Information gathering and analysis. Report on outcomes and manage collection and collation of routine management information
  • Managing Attendance and full range of Performance Management activities, against agreed targets, and including monthly feedback reviews, in-year and end year reporting etc.
  • Organizing and participation at management meetings, at which updates on team performance may be discussed by taking minutes and follow-up actions;
  • To ensure the incoming post is sorted and distributed within the Case Ownership Team on a daily basis, including complaints and queries;
  • ensure all home working correspondence and support is provided to remote working staff and that cases are scanned and ‘dropped in’ to correct containers.;
  • To ensure email is monitored and to answer urgent e-mails and correspondence where the files have not been allocated.
  • Providing information and data for weekly/monthly reports and governance documents.
  • Effective financial and resource management including the approval of orders and invoices on Account NI, and ProcessIT

It is envisaged that the post holder will be based in the money Judgment Team however; this may change depending on business need and staff availability.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Qualifications – Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent. Staff management experience and the ability to priorities the work of a team taking account of work priorities and targets. Experience of speaking to customers by telephone or face to face, negotiating payment arrangements and gathering information about their means. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational, planning and prioritizing skills.
