Manage a timely month-end process to produce quality financial information and analysis for leadership and the board
Responsible for the preparation and review of monthly and annual management accounts, including full balance sheet reconciliations
Responsible for KPI and financial reporting
Lead on data-driven analysis to support business decisions
Implement and maintain monthly forecasting
Lead and support on ad-hoc analysis, new initiatives and commercial projects
Support the annual budgeting process
Actively improve and find efficiencies in existing processes
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and other statutory returns
Where required, support our assistant management accountant with expenses, invoicing, supplier payments, cash reconciliations and other responsibilities
Support with annual audit requests
About you:
You are a part qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with management accounting and financial reporting experience
You are innovative, keen to improve the finance function and get stuck in to the task at hand
You have advanced excel skills
You have excellent numerical and analytical skills
You are independent, a self-starter and able to manage your own workload
You can communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders, you are not afraid to challenge and influence them
You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing demands and priorities
