The Ideal candidate will need to communicate very well with clients and maintain a dialogue whilst overseeing multiple contracts, the successful candidate will be working closely with the fire quantity surveyor and will be jointly procuring materials and equally responsible for the success and finances on the projects they manage.
The ability to deal with clients and manage directly employed people is essential and knowledge of fire protection is preferred, there are some HR responsibilities in this role but this will be assisted by senior management so previous skill and knowledge in these areas would be preferred it is not essential. A thorough knowledge of fire protection and relevant legislation is essential for this role alongside a good knowledge of FIRAS accreditation and evidence collating software such as bolster, site audit pro etc.
