Job Description

We are looking for a Creative Learning and Public Programming Administrator, who will work 4 days a week, providing administrative support across a wide range of activities, ensuring we reach the widest range of participants, artists and audiences, and delivering a high quality programme and experience. The role will maintain centralized administration for the Creative Learning and Public Programming functions, including writing contracts, data entry, research, event delivery processes, room and equipment bookings and any other admin duties as required.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent administration skills, with a methodical approach and attention to detail
  • Good time management skills and proven ability to work to, meet and ensure others meet deadlines
  • Highly effective at multi-tasking
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, to priorities workload and take initiative
  • Demonstrable accuracy and attention to detail in work produced
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • A flexible and collaborative approach, working irregular hours as required by event work
  • Proficient use of MS Office packages, including databases and Excel
  • Interest in the art forms represented in Southbank Centre’s programme
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the role that diversity and inclusion play in the activities of the Southbank Centre as a whole and in the work of this particular job.
