Responsible for all administrative requirements relating to transport
Liaise with internal and external customers, suppliers and drivers
Ensure the timely dispatch of outbound vehicles and track them on their journeys
Monitor the arrival of inbound vehicles and liaise with the warehouse team
Identify and monitor issues trends
Contribute ideas which will improve our ability to provide exceptional customer service
Support the planning of routes
Ensure that the operation remains legally compliant through monitoring drivers’ hours and downloading tachygraphy
Respond swiftly to breakdowns and vehicle defect reports
Ad-hoc administration duties

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent organizational skills and an eye for detail. A general understanding of transport legislation and logistics operations. Experience of producing reports and statistics in a timely manner. Experience of working in a customer focused, time sensitive environment with daily fluctuating workloads. Able to react quickly to information, helping solve any challenges to routes. Good computer skill -essential and experience using in-house transport management systems is an advantage. The drive and motivation to work night shifts.
