Job Description

As a respiratory Ward, going forward with the current COVID pandemic, the ward is developing into an Acute Respiratory Care Unit (ARCU) with a move to increase specialty respiratory beds in order to facilitate the future requirements of its service. This will be fully supported by the Divisional and Directorate teams.

You will provide clinical, professional, managerial and leadership for a multi-disciplinary team based on the ward. You will also be highly effective as a communicator and problem solver with the ability to work under pressure, manage budgets, staff and the delivery of care in a focused time frame. You will also need to demonstrate understanding and commitment to all relevant regulations in this important role.

Applicants should ideally be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and must also demonstrate your knowledge of clinical governance issues and key HR policies and procedures.

Applicants will be considered who have proven experience in Clinical Leadership of a Ward or Department team and are able to demonstrate up to date clinical, leadership and managerial skills.
