Job Description
The role also regularly interacts with the Commercial and Finance Planning teams. The individual should have the ability to contribute to these planning cycles, have a detailed understanding of the forecasts for the area, and the risks and opportunities to manage within them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business partnering -1 Director level, working closely together to drive the agenda of the area
- P&L ownership, providing commercial analysis and insight to create value
- Active role in managing the planning cycles, Outlook, Budget, 3YP
- Participating in monthly performance reviews with Sales to manage opportunities and risks
- Decision support to manage performance, deal support and governance implementation
- Evaluation of growth strategies, supporting investments plans and resource allocation
Demonstrable Experience:
- Agility to understand a broad range of business units with different commercial structures
- Ability to prioritise multiple demands and manage expectations
- Able to challenge senior management to prioritise areas that drive the most profit
- Strong track record in building relationships and influencing the decision-making process
- Comfortable with understanding and managing detail, but with the ability to provide high level summaries to senior management
What we need from you:
- Commercial Finance business partnering experience at a senior level
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong financial modelling skills
