Audit Senior Job Responsibilities

• Identify risk matters and present
• Produce reports highlighting issues and providing potential solutions
• Active engagement with senior staff to gain a good understanding of the business
• Supervisor, coach and develop junior members of staff within teams
• Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements
• Leading and running an audit process of client accounts from books and records
• Preparing accounts for companies

Person Specification

Typical qualities of an Audit Senior:

• Good working knowledge of UK GAAP and International Auditing Standards
• Ability to work under pressure, delivering results and meeting client expectations
• Experience working on complex aspects of audits
• Analysing and presenting recommendations
• Have excellent knowledge of Word, Excel and accounts production software
• Budgeting, time management and advising skills are essential
