Job Description

This post involves responsibility for accurate maintenance of a student’s record throughout the student life-cycle from registration to graduation. You will be responsible for supporting students on various programmes at the University. This will include managing the student record, answering queries and attending Exam Boards. An essential part of this role is ensuring that data is accurate and kept up to date at all times.

You will need to bring a willingness to be flexible in time and in workload to support effective team working, and to facilitate seamless customer service to everyone that you work with. The role requires a high level of accuracy with data input and the flexibility to work on a wide range of different programmes. You will also need attention to detail, and you will have excellent communications skills in working effectively with key individuals.

You will have good organizational and data skills, and the ability to use initiative and a flexible approach in delivering to deadline. Previous administration or HEI experience would be advantageous. Confidence using databases and Excel is also essential. The post holder will be expected to be able to priorities work and manage a varied workload to ensure deadlines are met. You will be educated with A-levels or equivalents, or demonstrate proven professional work experience.
