Job Description

You will be responsible for the operational side of our Treasury function, which means looking after our cash and debt management, reporting and reviewing policies and procedures. This is a time of exciting change for the business; we have a new CEO and CFO and have recently announced our new strategy, so the team is heavily involved in supporting our colleagues - providing debt and financial risk management services and advice - to help deliver our strategic priorities, which there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved with.

Principle accountabilities

  • Daily cash administration including investing of surplus funds and borrowing to cover deficits.
  • Process treasury related payments and inter bank account transfers
  • Review and drive improvements in cash management.
  • Support the Treasury Manager in other cash management duties.
  • Forecast, monitor and track cash flow.
  • Assist with the preparation and review of covenant reports.
  • Liaise with banks on any operational banking queries.
  • Support in the setup of new treasury instruments and facilities
  • Ensure various mandates in place are kept up to date
  • Responsible for maintaining data and all deals within the Treasury Management System and other treasury databases.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to maintain an accurate record of bank accounts held.
  • Assist with annual review of treasury policy and procedures.
  • Assist with external and internal audit process and queries.
  • Assist with the review and signing of various treasury documentation.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with treasury back office and other key stakeholders.
  • Undertake research for new Treasury related issues and regulations.
  • Ad hoc project work as required.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Treasury team.
  • Provide cover for treasury manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Willingness to undertake AMCT qualification. Adheres to Landsec cultural values of inclusive, driven, united and determined. Highly numerate. Understanding of finance and financial markets. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. A degree in a Finance related subject would be preferable.
