Job Description

This reports directly into the Finance Director of this £50m revenue business and requires an Accountant with strong systems skills and experience. The role doesn’t require a qualified accountant but can pay between £45k and £60k depending on experience. The role will be working closely with senior management, the external IT providers and senior finance staff.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead on systems upgrades and implementing new finance software across the Group, including a new expenses system Expensify (like Concur) & PSA for timesheets and billing.
• System guides/procedure manuals for Dynamics -become an expert user
• Establish best practices for financial systems use & reporting and ensures that these practices are used throughout the business.
• Integration of newly acquired companies systems intro group
• Provides training on the financial systems and produce process notes
• Maintenance and control of the ledgers on Dynamics 365 e.g. new code set up
• Assisting broader term with monthly reporting, year end stats and Ad-hoc projects.

Candidates must be / have:

• An accounting background with experience implementing / upgrading and developing finance systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage projects
