Job Description

The role of a Financial Accountant is to provide:
Financial accounting and tax activities for the UK entities.
Provide audit support.
Ad hoc projects and activities as requested.

Responsibilities:
FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING AND VAT:
Includes month-end close accounting, balance sheet account reconciliation,

VAT returns preparation and submission

Analytical reviews, budgeting and forecasts

Provide accounting and financial information as required by the business and management purpose

AUDIT SUPPORT:
Includes SOX audit, local statutory audit and tax audit activities.

OTHERS:
Ad hoc projects and activities as requested

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:
Accounting degree is desirable.

Must have 2+ years’ experience of working in a US GAAP company, in a similar type of role.

Good knowledge in UK GAAP & VAT.

Qualified or part-qualified ACCA/ ACA preferred.

Must have previous experience with auditors.

Must have previous accounting work experience in a US GAAP environment (SOX knowledge preferable)
Must have experience with working on SAP.

Must have advanced Excel knowledge.
