Job Description
The staff help every young person to re-engage with learning and enjoy school life, with the specialist teaching and integrated therapeutic support, small classes and a nurturing approach, they give students a framework for breaking down barriers to learning.
The main duties for this role are:-
- Provide administrative, and Organizational services to the school
- Liaise with pupils, parents/careers
- Take telephone calls and ensure accurate messages are recorded and passed on in a timely manner
- Analyze and evaluate data and information and run reports - using Sims
- Undertake word-processing and IT based tasks including operation of relevant equipment and advanced ICT packages
- Organize meetings and take notes
- Process forms, returns, etc., including those to outside agencies
- Respond to reception and visitor enquiries
- Monitor pupil attendance and run reports (Sims) and liaise with EWO
- Assist with school orders- checking and distribution
- Regularly handles cash, cash equivalents e.g. dinner monies, school visits
- School dinner administration
