They will liaise with suppliers and buyers to ensure that we are getting the utmost out of every transaction, also undertaking daily administrative tasks that include: raising purchase orders and expediting and chasing purchase orders.
Responsibilities:
Ready date review for imported wines and interaction with wineries for date compliance, escalation to Planner where necessary
Chasing hauliers/suppliers for updated collection and delivery dates into UK and warehouse
Bookings management into Bristol Port
Orders placing and management under Planner/Planning Team Leader management
Team activities reporting as indicated by Planning Team Leader
Any other task as indicated by Supply Planning Team Leader or Supply Planning Manager
Control vintage rollovers and new products set up
Resolve outstanding inbound issues and maintain issues log
Transport invoice sign off

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Basic knowledge of the supply chain. Strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong numerical skills. Able to work well under pressure. Previous supply / demand planning experience. Educated to degree level.
