The Role

As the Finance Manager, you will be tasked with providing financial information, controls and reporting for four business entities in the UK, France and Germany as well as our client’s European umbrella company.

Taking charge if a team, you will implement financial controls to support best practice and healthy finances, draft the management accounts on a monthly basis and complete all month end reporting.

You will prepare for the year end audit, as well as quarterly and half year reviews, implement a range of new systems, including purchase authorisation and Oracle, and review and approve journals.

Your role will also involve:

- Drafting financial statements with the help of external auditors
- Completing Intrastat reporting and accounting for VAT purposes
- Preparing VAT returns and corporation tax
- Setting up, leading and managing the accounts receivable and customer service departments
- Accounting for fixed assets

About You

To be considered as a Finance Manager, you will need:

- To be a qualified accountant
- Experience with ERP systems
- Experience of drafting management accounts and financial reporting under UK and US GAAP
- Experience of integrating processes arising from an acquisition
- Oracle and/or SAP experience
- Proficient MS Excel knowledge

Fluent German language skills, in addition to English, would be beneficial to your application.
