Your new role
As an Audit Semi Senior you will predominately work on audit assignments as part of a wider team, both in the office and out at clients sites. As an audit semi senior you will be responsible for planning and completing audit/accounts working files, conducting audit work in accordance with the agreed procedures, professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals, identify opportunities to sell more services and supervise/develop junior members of staff. The client base you will work with is Owner Managed Businesses (OMB's) with turnovers ranging up to £50million.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking for a keen individual that firstly possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will ideally be studying towards either your ACA or ACCA qualification. You will need to have an accurate and methodical approach to work, previous experience of working in an accountancy practice and a driving license as some audits will require travel. You will need to have a strong eye for detail, be able to take on ownership/responsibility and consider problems as a challenge.
