Your new job
As an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager you will work alongside another assistant manager and a manager acting as a key point of contact for a range of clients. You will be responsible for overseeing a range of audit and accounting assignments, reviewing the work of the audit team, mentoring the audit seniors in the day to day management of the assignments and also providing high level assistance on audits when necessary. This role offers a good level of autonomy and excellent progression through to manager in the medium term. Your client base will vary and consist of a broad range of privately owned businesses, groups and private equity backed business.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint a qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) who has operated as an audit senior for over two audit cycles and lives in the Greater Manchester region. You must be competent in leading audit assignments from planning through to completion with minimum assistance from management and be confident liaising with clients on a one to one basis. This is a technical role and you must be able to demonstrate strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge.
