Job Description

Supports the development, implementation and analysis of events and initiatives.

  • Performs assigned activities to support the execution of event plans
  • Supports the creation and delivery of events
  • Maintains existing marketing systems and processes
  • Conducts assigned analysis and research
  • Supports reporting on the performance of events and initiatives
  • Supports events team in all aspects of team administration including diary management and invoicing

You will have keen attention to detail, dedicated to the success of the team.

  • Manage the events diary for the events planning and operations team and distribute work between event specialists
  • Answer enquiries include conferences, exhibitions, seminars, market-open ceremonies, dinners, drinks receptions and celebratory parties from Group employees and assist them in finding suitable room bookings and dates
  • Work closely with the events team to ensure that they have all that they need to deliver their events to a high standard
  • Manage and report on event gift stock levels and business engagement
  • Work with internal suppliers to ensure a high standard of service is maintained and where appropriate processes improved
  • Coordination of end to end delivery of some small events within the London office
  • Support the team on use of internal payment system
  • Support the event specialists onsite at events where needed
  • Develop and maintain successful working relationships with internal and external clients and suppliers

Learn to promote events best practice, using events expertise and marketing knowledge to recommend the most appropriate use of resources

The hours for this role will be basic 9:00- 17:00 hours but with flexibility where needed in order to meet the demands of the business and our events.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree or equivalent. Some previous related business experience. Strong Administrative skills. Previous relationship management or event management or database experience desirable. Experience writing specifications and liaising directly with clients and suppliers. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of event management in a corporate environment desirable. Ability to multitask. Previous customer service experience.
