Your new role
As an Audit Assistant you will work on audit assignments (70% of the role) as part of a wider team both in your office and at client sites. As an assistant you will assist in the planning of audit/accounts working files, conducting audit work in accordance with the agreed procedures, professionally represent the firm and its interests in dealings with clients and other professionals. You will carry out accounts preparation for larger companies and this will include corporation tax computations. This will be a progressive role whereby you will need to allow for progression opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking for a keen individual that firstly possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills. You will need to have an accurate and methodical approach to work and some previous experience of working in an accountancy practice. You will need to have a strong eye for detail, be able to take on ownership/responsibility and consider problems as a challenge.
