Job Description

To operate and develop all systems and procedures in relation to payroll, time and attendance and pensions to support the Company’s human resource management requirement.

Time and Attendance, payroll etc.

To ensure that all employees including new starts are registered on the Time and Attendance System and that all aspects of attendance, e.g., absence shifts, non-standard bookings are properly recorded, authorized as appropriate and coded for payroll purposes across the group.

Maintain time and attendance records for agency workers for payment and costing for costing purposes (and advise Agencies of weekly man-hours).

To ensure that time and attendance and payroll systems and procedures are updated in line with changes to terms and conditions of employment and business needs.

To assist in the preparation of a fortnightly and monthly payroll. Update and maintain the payroll system, adding new starts, leavers etc.

To process all queries for payroll and time and attendance information and to produce any required reports to meet these needs.

To ensure the effective operation of the interfaces between time and attendance, payroll, personnel and other departments at all times.

To ensure correct payroll deductions are made on a fortnightly/monthly basis.

To maintain and inform external administrators of new starts/leaver details.

To assist with the Company’s auto enrolment requirements

To provide assistance as required to other finance functions and Human Resources as and when required.

To provide information as required to other departments.
