Job Description

Clinical R&D is of immense strategic importance to RFL- one of the top performing NHS organisations in the UK for undertaking pioneering clinical research. The trust has an ambitious research strategy focused on securing a top-10 ranking for patient participation in clinical research.

Reporting jointly to the director of R&D and head of corporate finance you will function as a key part of the senior R&D leadership at the trust. As a CCAB qualified accountant, you will have significant post qualification experience and proven finance business partnering experience. Previous experience of the complexities of research and NHS R&D finance is essential. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial, accounting and business acumen as well as highly evolved planning and analytical skills. They will be an excellent communicator and a skilful leader.
