Job Description

This will be a varied role with duties to include: -
*Lead and manage a team of 2 (Factory Accountant and a Cost Accountant)
*Full production of Monthly Management Accounts
*Work as Finance Business Partner for the manufacturing facility, working closely with workshop managers and operations
*Analysis of production output, overheads, inventory, KPIs (actuals against budget)
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Ensure accurate stock coding within accounts
*Work closely with the commercial team to manage customer rebates, including ensuring the accrual amounts are correct and accurate at all times
*Perform sales margin analysis
*Process improvement and development across the department
*Any other ad-hoc projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

*Ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified (Qualified by Experience will also be considered for the right candidate) *Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is essential *Strong business partnering skills *Staff management experience would be highly desirable *Strong analytical skills *Desire and ability to challenge the status quo *Proven capability of identifying and implementing process improvements *A confident IT user with strong Excel skills
