Job Description

• Provide accounting direction and support to the regional and sub-regional accounting teams to ensure compliance with all management, statutory accounting and local regulatory reporting deadlines;
• Ensure that the region complies with all accounting standards and requests for the provision of information, month end checklists requested by Corporate Finance, Corporate Tax, Group Treasury, Group Working Capital, Group Foreign Exchange and other Group legal entities;
• Support the standardization and improvement of accounting policies, processes and balance sheet control rollout across the region and within the shared services Centre in Prague;
• Manage the consolidated cash flow forecasting process, ensuring that we have a full understanding of our tracking
• Prepare, manage and report on the efficiency of the cash flow hedge;
• Enhance the balance sheet hedging process to enable more accurate forecasting and improved interpretation of foreign exchange results for the region;
• Drive both group and locally initiated projects on behalf of the region;
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships with management and colleagues;
• Support and cover for the Regional Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You must be a Qualified Accountant and preferable come from an audit practice background; Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or any other international accounting equivalent). Proven post qualification experience; Be experienced in foreign exchange and cash flow management; Excellent advanced knowledge of Excel; Advanced financial modelling skills required; Person with drive for improvement and excellence; Strong capability to adapt to necessary changes, and to lead changes; Able to work under pressure, deliver results and observe deadlines; Hands-on with day-to-day operations; Be independent and firm, at same time a team player;
