Job Description
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the organization and in the Finance team to provide ad hoc and standard reporting and analysis including P&L reviews, management accounting reporting and helping to ensure that financial targets are achieved
  • Work with Senior Leadership to analyze their business problems, drive out requirements and provide solutions and guidance that meet their needs
  • Take a lead role in the preparation of business plans and annual budgets and influence and recommend on key business decisions by building finance models
  • Have experience of building dashboards and integrating data sources to ensure timely and relevant analytics for decision-making
  • Review and make recommendations using the data from monthly analysis of financial and KPI performance. Actively communicate your recommendations to relevant stakeholders
  • Communicate, coordinate and update forecasts throughout the financial year
  • Partner with various leaders across the organization to develop actions plans using data from their departmental results and analysis
  • Communicate and identify improvements for Resource utilization levels; forecast expected trends to ensure acceptable levels of financial productivity and efficiency
  • Partner with external and internal groups to identify process improvements and understand industry trends and changes
  • Close management of the revenue lines and billing cycles
  • Develop and submit the annual R&D tax claims

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A third level degree in a Financial or Management Accountancy related field. Hold an industry recognized accountancy qualification; ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar. A minimum of 3 years’ postgraduate experience in a Financial Analyst or Management Accountant role in a large, commercial organization. Proven experience in influencing and communicating with senior stakeholders. Advanced skills using the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Microsoft Excel e.g. Vlook-ups, conditional formatting and/or macro creation and PowerPoint or other presentation tools. Extensive experience in driving and influencing data driven business decisions. Experience in working with enterprise accounting software, ideally SAP, and financial report writers. Track record and credibility to work with company senior management to deliver best in class analytics. Self-starter with ability establish requirements and deliver high quality, accurate reporting artefacts. Demonstrable experience of delivering complex information and data in a customer centric useable format. Experience of prioritizing own workload to deliver against tight deadlines and demonstrates the ability to multi-task across several competing priorities.
