Job Description

The role responsibilities will span multiple entities and jurisdictions. The role will report into the Financial Controller, working closely with the Corporate Controller and Global Finance Leadership. This role is to bolster the existing team as the business grows, and as existing team members move into news roles in the team. This position will have the opportunity for significant exposure to both entity and group reporting and play a key role in helping define future structure and reporting of the business as a whole. You will be joining a small but motivated team as we launch a new product, looking to scale further internationally following a recent fundraising round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Excellent knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
• Managing management and statutory accounts across multiple entities
• Work with Financial and Corporate Controllers to review and improve operational finance processes, as well as reporting cycles
• Ensure periodic tax filings are prepared and filed with required timelines, whilst liaising with tax advisors
• Calculation of PSA/P11D and submission to HMRC
• Responsible for timely and accurate balance sheet accounts monthly, including detailing of all relevant reconciliation and documentation
• Working with the auditors to run efficient and timely year end audit process
• Preparation of period statutory accounting for various entities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role. Qualified accountant with 2+ years PQE. Solid knowledge of accounting regulations. Experience in platform based environments / technology sector is helpful. Inquisitive mindset and not afraid to get into the details and challenge the status quo. Demonstrated analytical skills, handling large and complex data structure. Desire to work in fast paced and dynamic environment. Ambitious with a strong desire to take on technical accounting challenges. Demonstrated interest the in tech industry and disruptive technologies.
