Job Description
- Preparation of accounts for a portfolio of pension schemes using Sage Line 50 and other similar accounting systems
- Preparation of accompanying Trustee’s Report using templates
- Preparing working papers and reconciliations to support the financial statements through Sage Line 50 and other similar accounting systems
- Posting journals to support working papers of accounts
- Closely working with auditors throughout the accounts sign off process
- Compliance with regulations and UK accounting requirements
- Completion of monthly bank reconciliations, cashbooks and other cash management as required
- Reconcile investment and AVC data, and other information
- Completing tax returns
- Check and review of work for junior members of the team
- Working to agreed deadlines so as to deliver a high quality and efficient service to clients
- Dealing with queries from other team members, Auditors, Trustees, etc
