You will be a trusted advisor in the role of Management Accountant and relish the opportunity to have huge impact on the companies you work with.

The main duties will include;

• The opportunity to work autonomously and planning/managing jobs to ensure outstanding service for the clients
• Owning the relationships with a portfolio of clients
• Advising clients on tax and financial matters
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts
• Preparation of self assessment tax returns
• Bank/credit card reconciliation in Xero
• Maintaining purchase ledgers
• Handling staff expense claims
• Continuously streamlining all of the above to ensure that the client is as efficient as possible
• Managing Credit Control on behalf of clients
• Monthly preparation and submission of client VAT returns and a small number of payrolls

• Other work as per the full job description (to be supplied upon application)

The successful candidate must have;

• AAT Level 4 qualified, studying towards ACCA or already ACCA qualified.
• 3 years minimum Accountancy Practice experience
• A strong level of technical accounting expertise
• A dynamic, client focused approach
• Personable and real passion for and experience of providing excellent client care
• Exposure to cloud accounting software such as Xero and Receipt Bank (Desirable to be certified on both or another Cloud Accounting Software)
• High levels of integrity
• Passionate about compliance work
• Competent in preparing and filing VAT returns
