Job Description

This newly created Finance Manager role will report to the Head of Finance and be a key member of the finance team in London. You will manage the budgeting and forecasting for the UK and Ireland channel and will provide insightful analysis to support the business in decision making.

Responsibilities will include:
 

• Taking ownership of the management of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting
• Help to drive insight on the omnichannel sales, identifying key trends in the market and react with future planning
• Support with developing financial plans for the Business Unit and monitor and track the progress of these operations
• Business partnering with the Marketing Director, helping to understand the spend to date and under or overspend of budget
• Responsible for running the reporting schedules and month end accounting activities
• Provide commentary and analysis to the leadership team, including Heads of Departments and the UK Managing Director

To be considered you will be an CIMA Qualified Accountant. You must be a commercially minded individual and have a good grounding of financial accounting knowledge. The ability to work in a fluid and fast-paced environment and having a can-do attitude is key. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a positive mindset who possesses excellent communication skills and the confidence and ability to partner with senior stakeholders across the business. Previous experience within an FMCG or retail environment is beneficial.
