Job Description

The key tasks in your new and exciting role with us:

Leading the preparation of accurate, timely and insightful reporting for internal stakeholders (Board, Leadership Team and Management), covering both financial and non-financial measures, to enable effective decision making and stewardship of the business, and driving accountability

  • Leading the preparation of year end statutory and interim reporting under IFRS, ensuring the audit process runs smoothly
  • Responsibility for ownership of Doctor Care Anywhere’s financial systems and records
  • Leading the annual planning and quarterly forecasting cycles
  • Contributing to the strategic planning process
  • Leading the business partnering activities of the department, supporting the wider business to make informed commercial and financial decisions
  • Day-to-day oversight of tax compliance and reporting matters
  • Day-to-day oversight of operational finance matters (payroll, banking, etc)
  • Ensuring an effective control environment
  • Undertaking as requested other activities that may be outside of your area of focus but contribute to the overall success of the Company

 

Hopefully a description of you and your experience!:

  • Extensive experience in industry covering both technical and commercial finance
  • Experience of working in both mid-size and large organisations, experience of the growth journey highly advantageous
  • Experience of working in technology and healthcare sectors
  • Experience of leading in-house preparation of statutory reporting
  • Technically strong accountant with experience of reporting under IFRS
  • Experience of designing and leading business planning and forecasting
  • Experience of leading or being significantly involved in the implementation of new systems and processes
  • Experience of leading and developing a team
  • Experience of NetSuite implementation and use highly advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills
