Job Description
Working as part of a dedicated finance team, the primary focus of the role is assisting with the production and reporting of the monthly management accounts, posting journals, performing reconciliations, quarterly financial reports and the financial control of the Company’s balance sheet.
Main responsibilities will be:
- Assisting with production of all management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet) and internal management reporting.
- Assisting with completion of the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Month end planning and timetabling for reporting across the team.
- Assisting external auditors for all external reporting requirements.
- Assisting with reinsurance accounting and reconciliation. Ensuring payments and returns are completed within agreed deadlines.
- Assisting with completion of returns to trade organizations such as ABI and the Office for National Statistics.
- Assisting with the production of accurate financial, other statutory and tax returns, required to meet legislative requirements, e.g.; IPT, VAT and Companies House.
- Adhere to the TU Financial and Risk Data Management Policy
