Job Description

You will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts, e.g. assessment of accruals, raising journals, calculating interest charges, closing periods and liaising with Business Functions. You will be accountable for preparation of the Monthly Management Board Report for distribution to Senior Management and Monthly Board report for circulation to the Board. You will provide the Group Monthly Reporting Pack according to deadlines set. You will support the Finance Manager with respective budget holders to ensure achievement of budget / forecast as well as assist with internal and external audits. You will assist with preparation of statutory Financial Statements in line with IAS & Group policies and long term Strategic Plans, Annual Budgets and regular in-year forecasts.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Degree qualified in Finance Accounting. Studying for ACCA, ACA CIMA or any equivalent professional accounting qualification. You will have previous experience of Access Dimensions, be an advanced Excel user with Finance experience in industry or practice. You will have knowledge applying IFRS properly to understand and correct financial statements and the underlying transactions and be a user of an established accounting software system. Able to manage your own workload, you will appreciate the need for discretion and combine this with excellent interpersonal skills.
