This is an interesting and varied position that would suit an experienced secretary who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role in which finding a balance between team working and utilizing initiative is important. You will be motivated & flexible, be able to work well within a team and able to organize your own workload. Good time management skills and being able to priorities tasks is essential as is having good attention to detail. You will also need to have the ability to deal sensitively with people who may be distressed. This is a busy position and the successful candidate will provide excellent administration and secretarial support to our psychiatrists and clinical team. Therefore, a good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential.
You will provide secretarial and admin support for a busy multi-disciplinary clinical team. You will be working with the admin lead and the admin team contributing to a wide range of duties which will include; answering phone calls in a professional and efficient manner and ensuring messages are passed on accurately, processing incoming referrals and uploading onto our electronic patient record following processes accurately. Typing and/or formatting letters and reports for doctors, attending meetings and minute taking. You will need to be able to manage your own workload, working proactively and flexibly to cover as required.

There is in-house training and supervision for all the staff with NICE guidelines recommended interventions for eating disorders. As a team, we deliver evidence-based and evidence generating practice and research is encouraged.
