Job Description

You will be part or fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA with a strong accountancy background. You will be open to getting stuck into all aspects of the charity and their events. You will possess excellent attention to detail as well as able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. You will be open to change and agile in your approach. To fit in with the team you will be excited by upgrading to new technology always looking to streamline and improve the accountancy function. You will be an excellent communicator who is self-motivated and energetic. A pragmatic and down to earth approach to problems is beneficial and a great sense of humor is always helpful.

  • Assist FD to ensure accurate reporting of all financial information for the charity’s board and trustees
  • Using Sage and Microsoft Excel you will be responsible for the day to day bookkeeping of the Charity
  • Processing invoices and expenses as well as payments to vendors
  • Group VAT returns
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist FD in preparing Annual Statutory accounts
  • Liaising with auditors and Tax teams
  • Providing support to the FD of budgets and forecasts
  • Assisting the charity’s supporters and fundraisers with any financial queries
