Job Description

You will be responsible for the month-end financial statements across multiple divisions which includes producing the monthly profit and loss accounts for those divisions.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparation of month-end P&L accounts, ensuring revenues and costs are accurately stated
• Producing month end pack
• Posting month-end journals, accruals and prepayments
• Month and quarter end balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with the yearend statutory audit

You will have had experience assisting with month end and have a desire to become a qualified management accountant. You will be actively studying towards a recognized accounting qualification (AAT / CIMA / ACCA) along with excellent MS Excel skills. Ideally you will have an interest in reading and the idea of joining a global publishing house will excite you!
