Job Description

You should be able to present relevant experience in working to strict deadlines and provide clear and concise financial information and advice to non-financial managers. As you will be the first point of contact for a range of stakeholders you should therefore possess excellent communication skills and have the ability and willingness to build relationships across different teams.

What will I be doing?

  • Owning and delivering timely, high quality and accurate management accounts for retail business area
  • Reviewing existing management information to find efficiencies and improvements
  • Working with multiple stakeholders to identify and process transactions needed to ensure accounts are complete and correct
  • Taking ownership for business critical tasks such as royalty and revenue share processing for commercial partnerships
  • Being a key finance point of contact for your specified business area
  • Supporting the financial planning process by building budgeting and forecasting tools and templates
  • Facilitating and supporting budget holders to complete headcount budgets.

  • Strong relationship and influencing skills, with the confidence to work with Directors and senior stakeholders
  • Proven management accounting experience
  • The ability to clearly present and explain financial information
  • Experience of helping decision makers understand the impact of their decisions
  • An innovative mindset with experience of working in a continuous improvement environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
