Job Description

You will be working as part of the Planning and Business Development team where you will use your advanced IT skills to support the team and colleagues across the Trust. This post gives an excellent opportunity to work in an interesting and challenging role with a team who can offer a diverse administrative workload. Additionally, you will be offered opportunities for training and professional development to enhance your skills. The Planning and Business Development team is led by the Head of Planning and Business Development and incorporates the following functions:

  • Business planning - setting the planning process for the trust and delivering an annual plan, business objectives, CDS (Central Depository System) plans and infrastructure plans, then monitoring the implementation of these plans
  • Business Development - supporting CDSs and corporate teams with tenders and business cases

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are looking for an experienced, motivated individual who is:

  • Highly organized; with the ability to priorities competing deadlines;
  • Has excellent IT/administration skills (Word, Excel, PPT);
  • Works well in a team;
  • Has excellent communication skills;
  • Has good interpersonal skills and is able to work in a professional, sensitive manner;
  • Has the ability to use initiative, be able to produce high quality materials and help manage office systems effectively and efficiently;
  • Can provide accurate and timely minutes for key meetings as required
