Job Description

Your principal responsibilities will be to assist with the compilation of the monthly management accounts and co-ordination of the annual Budget and Forecast process. Alongside the Central Finance Manager you will act as an interface between the various Finance departments, Business Systems team and the Central Finance team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Month End / Executive Committee reporting.
  • Assist in the coordination and compilation of the UK & Ireland monthly accounts pack. To work as a team with the Central and Operational Finance departments to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Budget & Forecasting. Be a key point of contact for queries in relation to the Budget & Forecast process.
  • Analyze and reconcile data across key business intelligence tools
  • Opportunity to support the Budget & Forecasting manager in the enhancement and development of the budgeting and forecasting tool.
  • Preparation of ad hoc presentations and analysis for internal & external use by the CFO

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • University degree (preferably STEM), Business school and/or AAT (level 4 completed)
  • Advanced Excel Skills (pivot tables, lookups, summits)
  • Ability to demonstrate potential for strong systems knowledge
  • Experience using G Suite (including Google Sheets, Slides & Docs)
  • It is expected that the successful candidate will study towards an appropriate accounting qualification for example ACCA or CIMA.
